As a Composer: many plays at the National Theatre, including The Coast of Utopia, Summerfolk, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Albert Speer, The Merchant of Venice, An Enemy of the People, The Cherry Orchard, The Relapse, Not About Nightingales (for which he received a Drama Desk nomination in New York) and new music for The Royal Hunt of the Sun. Other composition for the stage includes Hamlet (Old Vic); Singer (Tricycle);We Happy Few (Gielgud); Measure for Measure (RSC and Young Vic); Macbeth and The Government Inspector(Watermill, Newbury); and A Christmas Carol (Alley Theatre, Houston, USA).
 
As an Arranger: countless musicals at the Open Air Theatre (this year’s is The Boyfriend); The Threepenny Opera (RNT); Golden Boy (Greenwich); Brighton Rock (Almeida); Guys and Dolls and Sweet Charity (Sheffield Crucible); The Wizard of Oz (Birmingham Rep); The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Leicester Haymarket), and numerous pantos for the Hackney Empire.
